Safe loads. Every one.
Safety comes first in the family’s mission, and it is how Superior runs. Superior is hazmat certified, maintains its own trucks in its own shop, hires drivers who live in the market, and watches every load from a dispatch desk that never closes.
Texas Mutual Platinum, 2026.
Texas Mutual, the state’s largest workers’ compensation insurer, named Superior a 2026 Platinum Safety Partner. Platinum is the top category of its Work Safe, Texas awards.
It goes to about 200 of Texas Mutual’s more than 81,000 policyholders each year. It is not a badge we gave ourselves: it comes from the insurer that covers our people while they work.
For a shipper, that matters in plain ways. A company that keeps its own people safe keeps its trucks on the road, its drivers on the job and your freight on schedule.

Six habits. Every load.
Safety at Superior is not one program. It is the same handful of habits on every hot shot, dedicated route and overnight run.

Placarded trucks. Endorsed drivers.
Superior is hazmat certified. Chemical and specialty loads run on placarded trucks with hazmat-endorsed drivers, dispatched by the same local team that runs the rest of your freight.
Tell dispatch what is moving when you call. They match the load to a truck and a driver qualified to carry it. Larger hazmat loads in 18-wheelers run through sister company J.H. Walker Trucking, with the same dispatcher and paperwork.

Our own shop. Our own mechanics.
Superior maintains its trucks in its own shop. Preventive maintenance done in-house keeps trucks on the road and routes on time, with the work done by people who know our trucks.
On dedicated programs the shop is part of the deal: Superior supplies, drives, insures and maintains the trucks, handles same-day replacements, and backs them up with trucks from the hotshot fleet for sick days and peaks.
Drivers who live in your market.
Each of Superior’s five markets, Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and Lafayette, has its own drivers, staged locally. A driver who runs the same streets every day knows the roads, the docks and the branches, and the load starts close by.
Local routes also mean drivers sleep at home. That is good for them, and a rested driver is a safer one.

Every load leaves a record.
Dispatch watches each load from booking to proof of delivery, and you can watch with them.
