Placarded, endorsed, on its way.
Chemical freight leaves no room for a guess. Superior is hazmat certified, with placarded trucks and hazmat-endorsed drivers, moving drums, totes and specialty products to the plants along the Houston Ship Channel and the Gulf Coast. Bulk tanker loads run through sister company J.H. Walker.
The right truck and the right driver.
A regulated load needs three things to line up: a carrier certified to haul it, a truck placarded for it and a driver endorsed to drive it. At Superior they come together, so a hazmat order is dispatched like any other, not handed off.
Tell dispatch what the product is, its hazard class and how much is moving. They match the truck and the driver before anything is loaded.

Drums, totes, and the cases in between.
Packaged chemical freight, hazardous and not, from the warehouse to the plant gate.
Drums
Drums on pallets, banded and secured, loaded by forklift or set down off a lift gate.
Totes
Intermediate bulk containers, loaded by forklift onto a stakebed or into a box truck and secured for the road.
Pails & cases
Pails, jugs and cased product, palletized or loose, in a cargo van or a box truck.
Specialty products

The plant gate, from Houston out.
Houston is Superior’s headquarters, a short run from the Ship Channel and the plants that line it. From there, and from our Lafayette market, we cover the chemical corridor along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.
Plant deliveries come with their own rules: a gate, a check-in and a receiving window. Give dispatch the details and the driver arrives ready for them.
- Ship ChannelPlants and terminals along the Houston Ship Channel, Pasadena and Baytown.
- Gulf CoastTexas City, Galveston and east along I-10 to Beaumont.
- LouisianaFrom Lafayette across Acadiana and the Louisiana Gulf Coast.
- Inland TexasDallas–Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio, each with local dispatch.
Described, matched, tracked, signed.
The same four steps on every chemical load.
- Describe the loadCall or send the quote form with the product, its hazard class, the packaging and the count.
- Truck and driver matchedDispatch assigns a placarded truck that fits and a hazmat-endorsed driver.
- Tracked the whole wayA live GPS link you can share with the plant, and a text at every milestone.
- Signed at the gateA signed, photographed proof of delivery by email, in the customer portal or into your ERP.
Sized to the packaging.
Dispatch confirms the size and weight on the call. A regulated load goes on a placarded truck.
Box truck
Enclosed, with a lift gate for drums and cases where there is no dock.
Stakebed
An open deck with rails for totes and pallets loaded from the side.
One-ton & pickup
Hot shot a few drums or a pallet to a plant that’s waiting.
Cargo van
Cases, pails and samples, enclosed and secure.
Safety starts in the yard.
Loads are secured before they roll, trucks are kept up in our own shop, and dispatch watches every run.

Hazmat on every schedule.
A certified carrier is only useful if it can run when you need it. Whichever service you book, tell dispatch it’s a regulated load and they plan for it.
Five markets. Local in each.
Each has its own dispatch, drivers and phone number, and runs go between them across Texas and Louisiana.
