Why Superior

A local job, done right.

Superior is one of the largest hotshot providers in Texas and Louisiana, and it is still a family company. The same family has run it since 1978, when it opened with two drivers delivering small packages around Houston.

The work stays local. You drive in the market you live in, for a dispatcher in that market who knows its roads, its docks and its customers.

  • Local routes in your own market
  • Local dispatch who know the market, live 24/7
  • An in-house shop that keeps the trucks maintained
  • A Texas Mutual 2026 Platinum Safety Partner
  • A family company, on the road since 1978

Safety

Recognized for it.

Texas Mutual, the state’s largest workers’ compensation insurer, named Superior a 2026 Platinum Safety Partner, the top category of its Work Safe, Texas awards. It goes to about 200 of its more than 81,000 policyholders each year.
