Stakebed
Open deck with stake rails, so reels, conduit bundles and pallets load from the side by forklift. The truck most electrical routes run on. A large stakebed takes the bigger nights.

An electrical distributor lives on its counters and its contractors. Superior moves your stock from the distribution center to every branch overnight, runs the will-call that can’t wait, and drops reels and gear at the jobsite on stakebeds and box trucks.
Electrical stock is awkward. A reel is heavy and round, conduit comes in long bundles, and fixtures and controls ride in cartons that have to stay dry. One load can hold all three.
We load each piece on the truck that suits it and secure it for the road, then deliver to the branch dock, the counter or the jobsite.
The route is built around your DC, your branches and the hour each counter opens. Here is how a night runs.
Dispatch confirms the size and weight of the load on the call and sends the truck that fits it.

For fixtures, controls and palletized gear that should stay dry, and for drops where there is no dock or forklift: the lift gate sets it down at the curb.

The will-call truck. Cartons, breakers and small parts from a branch to a contractor or another branch, the same day.
The overnight route covers what you planned. The day brings what you didn’t: a will-call for a crew already on site, a branch that sold out of a size, a reel that has to be at the jobsite before the pull.
Call dispatch, any hour, and a hot shot goes from the branch nearest the stock. If you would rather have trucks of your own without owning them, a dedicated program puts our trucks and drivers on your schedule.

What electrical distributors ask us. Anything else, dispatch is up 24/7 at 713-688-1900.
Yes. Our truck loads at your distribution center in the evening, runs every branch on the route overnight and photographs each drop, so the counters open stocked.
Yes. Reels and spools ride on a stakebed, loaded from the side and strapped down. Tell dispatch the reel size and weight on the call so they send the truck that fits.
A stakebed or a large stakebed carries bundled conduit and strut flat on the deck. For longer or heavier loads, dispatch can send a one-ton flatbed or a gooseneck mini float.
Yes. A box truck with a lift gate sets pallets of fixtures and gear down at the curb, and a stakebed can be unloaded by the contractor’s forklift.
Yes. Call 24/7 dispatch at 713-688-1900 and a cargo van or pickup hot shot goes from the branch with the stock to the branch or jobsite that needs it.
